Aside from these, hunger was also present, pretty much exactly like it is in the current game. Originally Hunger wasn’t the only “event” during the dungeon, there were a couple more events which could randomly happen during the dungeon. Eventually characters with such mechanics were added, but not all classes had such innate bonuses that go beyond effects on their skills, and the "Class Bonuses" section was removed. These were planned to explain various bonuses unique to a class, like the Antiquarian's unique loot, even though she was added much later. Heroes' information panels used to have a blank section called "Class Bonuses". The old barks for Abomination and Religious classes refusing to work with each other also still exist in the localization. info file so that she's no longer tagged that way. ![]() While this seems normal, since religion in its final form ended up working through tags on each character, it is impossible for the Vestal to not be religious unless one modifies her. The last part can be modded in or replicated into a modded character.Ī camping skill for the Vestal class mentions working only if the Vestal is religious. ![]() info files (Detailing stats and other such information) that specify if a character is religious or not, the ability to make camping skills trigger certain effects when used on religious/non-religious characters, and formerly a restriction preventing the Abomination class from going into a quest alongside religious characters. All that remains by now is the tags within character's. ![]() Religion was a scrapped system that was supposed to affect heroes more than it ended up doing, according to the developers and some bits of content spread out mostly in the localization.

![]() ![]() (He waved to us!)Īt Pike’s Market, I placed “Flat Alissa” among the vibrant bouquets of tulips and luscious fruit and vegetable displays. I took her on the ferry to Bainbridge Island where they happened to be filming a scene from “Grey’s Anatomy” with Patrick Dempsey. I had so much fun explaining the project to my hosts and the people I met while displaying the paper cut-out. I also had a trip planned to Seattle, WA so I took “Flat Alissa” with me to show her the sights. I was delighted to create one for Alissa. I’ve written in journals for 40 years and have created many for my two granddaughters. I was thrilled to receive the project because I’m an avid journal writer. She requested I mail back the journal to Minnesota by May 1. She asked that I write in her journal and include some photos and souvenirs of my trip so that she will know what we did together. So she sent “Flat Alissa” and asked me to take her around my town and show her the sights. Alissa explained that she would like to be Stanley and visit me, but she can’t miss school. In one of his adventures Flat Stanley is mailed to California for a vacation with a friend. In the story Stanley is accidentally flattened and has some adventures before returning to normal. Her class read a book called Flat Stanley: His Original Adventure! by Jeff Brown. She mailed me a packet with a journal, a cut-out drawing of herself and a letter explaining the project. My 8-year old friend, Alissa, invited me to participate in her second grade classroom project. ![]() before they become entangled in the arc’s core conflict). Having established the elements at the heart of a static character arc, you can now begin mapping the major beats that will define your character’s journey. Mapping The Beats of a Static Character Arc What devastating event or realization might hold the power to push your character to their breaking point? ![]() What’s at stake if your character refuses to accept the Lie? If they do choose to believe it? What conflict might the antagonist or antagonistic force bring about in an effort to undermine your character’s Truth? How does your antagonist or antagonistic force benefit from believing or encouraging others to believe this Lie? What Lie does this antagonist or antagonistic force want your character to believe? Who or what will seek to undermine your character’s Truth, whether or not they do so intentionally? However, you might find it helpful to first answer the following questions: key moments) that comprise the general series of trials and tribulations your character will experience in their static arc. Below, I’ll break down the story beats (i.e. With this Truth in hand, you can now consider how you might tempt your character to forsake this Truth during the course of your arc. Just as stupid as it was to say Mortal Kombat is gonna turn people into killers. This “if you buy Harry Potter, you’re a bad person” crap is stupid. It’s better than using them to negatively represent the innocent people they were used to demonize. I see nothing wrong with taking negative descriptions & using them to represent a fictional species. Before someone says goblins are jews, if someone’s first thought when seeing goblins in HP is jewish people & not, well, goblins, I honestly question their own bias. Even if those ideals were believed by Rowling, she’s kept it out of the books’ universe. Thankfully, it’s Harry Potter that’s popular, not those mentalities. This time I can’t even blame scalpers for how few copies were out there because the Mario anniversary collection was suppose to be a limited print on purpose yet I can still find physical copies of that game easily, but for some dumb reason Nintendo thought it was a great idea to print fewer copies of Metroid Prime Remastered (which isn’t meant to be a limited print) than the game that was suppose to be limited physical print.įor all the idiots saying “just buy digital” how about no, I don’t support digital because you don’t own a digital copy and in the near future when Nintendo does decide to shut down the eshop for the switch (which will definitely happen during their next console cycle in the same way the wii, wiiu, and 3ds eshops) you won’t be able to buy or re-download your digital copies and if anything happens to you systems then you game is gone forever. ![]() ![]() Metroid Prime fell because Nintendo was too stupid to print enough physical copies for people who buy physical or just wanted one for their collection for preservation. ![]() These are considered the best top-tier builds for Solo GR pushing and will likely top the game’s leaderboards towards the end of the season.
